It was in my blood to guide in the Zambezi Valley. Having grown up in South Africa to parents born in Zimbabwe it was a calling that I would visit the land they loved. I have since spent thousands of hours exploring the region on foot, by canoe, boat and on game drives as a guide. The unwavering conservation efforts have protected the parks and kept the landscape as it has been for millenia. Tens of thousands of elephants roam freely, no fences in sight, alongside thriving predator numbers and unique species such as the endangered African Wild Dog. From ancient civilization rock art, bird-filled floodplains, buzzing safari areas, mountains, hills and rivers – this country has something for everyone. A short flight from the luxury of your safari camp and you are feeling the thunderous mist of Mosi-Oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls). Easily accessible and rich in natural and cultural history, I would rate Zimbabwe as one of the top safari destinations in Africa.
